Green Planning Studio Ltd are very please to announce the publication of a new book written by one of our directors, namely, Ruth Reed. The book entitled “Town Planning: The RIBA Plan of Work 2013 Guide” is part of a series of books providing must-read practical guidance on running efficient and successful projects. Each book in the series tackles a core project task and explains the essential activities and considerations at each stage of the new Plan of Work – the definitive UK model for the building design and construction process produced by the RIBA.
Ruth’s book is focused on the associated planning policy and process of Town Planning and is sure to be considered an authoritative guide based on her considerable expertise in planning.
Her book has a forward from the Government’s Chief Planner. Extract from forward by Steve Quartermain, Chief Planner, Department for Communities and Local Government:
‘This guide usefully charts the planning processes against the stages of the RIBA Plan of Work 2013, setting out the routes to achieving consent for development and the strategies that can be adopted, and their implications for project timescales and budgets.’
Each book provides many hints and tips for projects large and small. Easy to use and navigate and in a small and handy format, these guides will provide the ultimate quick reference support in the office and or on site for all practitioners.
