Planning Gained for 3 eco-houses in Suffolk

Green Planning Studio has successfully obtained Planning Permission at a Planning Appeal for three individual designed eco-houses with detached double garages on a plot of land in Beck Row, Mildenhall, Suffolk.

The Planning Inspector concluded that Forest Heath District Council could not demonstrate a 5-year supply of housing land. Green Planning Studio successfully argued that the Council should not be able to eliminate a substantial backlog by merely publishing a new objectively assessed need.

Green Planning’s Architects and Planning experts designed each of the eco-houses, which sit in a large individual plot of land, to have solar and PV panels, a small vertical wind turbine and underground heat pump coils.

Each of these 4 bedroomed eco-houses is of a contemporary design in their rural setting and has been designed to a very high specification with extensive feature glazing to take full advantage of the available views.
