Green Planning Studio has obtained outline planning permission for a housing development of 16 houses, including 8 affordable units, in the Green Belt in Epping Forest. The proposal includes the trading-in of a large garden centre, ancillary buildings and parking area for a development of 16 detached houses around a village green and the re-establishment of an existing pond.
In discussions with the Council, recent case law was used to prove that the entirety of the site could be classified as previously developed land. The development now provides Epping Forest with some much-needed market and affordable houses in a sustainable location.
