Green Planning Studio Limited launched

With the launch of Green Planning Studio the practice is developing two strands of its services.
Ruth Reed has left her professorial post at the Birmingham School of Architecture and now works full time at the practice, bringing with her experience in the self-build sector and friends throughout the architectural community from her time as the first woman president of the RIBA. Conscious that architects and their clients are finding it increasingly difficult to negotiate planning approvals, she is offering GPS’s highly experienced and successful team to help them to win consents. There was considerable interest at the recent Grand Designs Live from both architects and kit suppliers in GPS’s ability to unlock problem sites so watch this space for news of our successes.

When it all goes to court the world of planning law is a highly specialised environment. Green Planning Studio is delighted to welcome Michael Rudd as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is a successful planning barrister and has represented GPS clients for many years in both the courts and at appeal. He brings further expertise to our appeals team who provide support in this specialism.
